"Hello Scotland - this is Downing Street"

When the Scottish National Party won the recent elections in Scotland Tony Blair couldn't be asked to pick up the phone and ring Alex Salmond, the SNP leader, to congratulate him. However fellow Scot and Prime Minister in waiting and waiting and waiting Gordon Brown has taken advantage of St. Tony's absence on his Blairgacy grand tour of the Dark Continent to slip into Number 10 and correct the oversight.
