For any of you that have ever been on London's Tube in the summertime you will know how miserably hot it can been, especially on the deep lines. Three or four years ago London's Mayor "Red" Ken Livingstone offered a reward of £100K for anyone who could come up with a process to cool the trains. Conventional air conditioning technology will not work as there is no where for the hot air to escape to.
I don't know who has come up with this new plan to put blocks of ice under the seats on trains or whether it qualifies for the £100K prize but I sure as hell hope it works.
