Is he gone yet?

Blairgacy - the Farewell Tour is winding down after its triumphant march across Africa and novelist Martin Amis has been there for the entire roller coaster ride. He has publishes the highlights in today's Guardian including the confession that when he has to vacate Number 10 to make room for Gordo he will "probably be clinging to the doorknocker". Well I have a word of advice to the coppers on duty out in front of the PM's official residence - on the day if he gets up to any such nonsense break his fingers if you have to but get the man out of there - the nation is relying on you!

On a more serious note St. Tony has endorsed South Africa's hands off approach to Mugabe in Zimbabwe. I can only assume that the interventionist-in-chief is assuming that the Zimbabwean President is bound to die sooner rather than later.
