The General who was in charge of the investigation of the atrocities commited by American armed forces at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, Major General Antonio Taguba, has now come forward to say that the Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and other Pentagon officials probably lied to Congress when they said they were not aware of the extent of the charges as he had personally briefed Rumsfeld only the day before Rummy's testimony!
