Britain's Minister for Children Beverley Hughes has had to pull out of a speaking engagement after suffering a highly suspicious attack of food poisoning. Ms. Hughes was to call for an increase in legally mandated paid paternity pay to four weeks; a position that is not in line with government thinking.
