Former British Chief Justice Lord Woolf has been brought in by scandal-ridden "merchant of death" BAE Systems to oversee an inquiry into their seemingly nonexistent ethical policies. He will be paid the less the princely sum of £6000 a day for his efforts. By BAE's standards a princely sum, such as that paid to Saudi Prince Bandar is in the neighbourhood of £330,000 a day. There is no news as to whether Lord Woolf will be given an aircraft commensurate with his cash remuneration; something in the way of a Piper Cub might be appropriate.
