A sinking ship?

America's number one defence contractor, Lockheed Martin, is struggling to make a profit and there are those will probably argue that the government needs to step in to ensure a return to obscene profitability.

The question I would ask is whether a merchant of death that has been unable to make gross profits during the Bush years of profligate and thoughtless spending is not so mismanaged that they deserve to fail. Maybe they should take the Halliburton route and move their headquarters to the Persian Gulf.
