Things that make you say "hmmm"

I have been reading Richard Dawkins's The Ancestor's Tale. He manages to sneak in a couple of paragraphs of Bush bashing. I am sure that it is just a coincidence that it happens to occur in a chapter on New World monkeys. I wonder what the Smirking Chimp will make of all this.
