Ask the experts!

I've heard from people that should know and it would appear that Hugo Chavez is wrong about President Bush.

I received this email via Christian Newswire (a never ending source of amusement and stress all bundled together):

MEDIA ADVISORY, Sept. 21 /Christian Newswire/ -- Ted Haggard, President of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) offers the following comment on yesterdays speech at the United Nations by Hugo Chavez:

"NAE theologians and scholars have conducted a thorough exegetical study of the biblical texts concerning the person, disposition, and earthy manifestations of Satan (Beelzebub, Lucifer, Prince of Darkness). They have incontrovertible concluded that, contrary to the assertion of Hugo Chavez, President Bush is not the Devil."

The mission of the National Association of Evangelicals is to extend the kingdom of God through a fellowship of member denominations, churches, organizations, and individuals, demonstrating the unity of the body of Christ by standing for biblical truth, speaking with a representative voice, and serving the evangelical community through united action, cooperative ministry, and strategic planning.

Sorry George!

Do you reckon they can arrange interviews with Satan?

If I can think of something sufficiently snarky I'll probably drop Carolyn an email.
