Pity poor Popeye

There is an outbreak of E. Coli in the United States which is being the source of which has been pinned down to bagged fresh spinach. How will mothers ever convince their kids to eat it again?

(Title note: I think Popeye will be OK - as I recall he only eats tinned spinach. After all it's a more impressive display of one's strength to rip open a tin than to tear a plastic bag.)
