Is the American anti-abortion movement splitting apart as a rift seems to be developing between James Dobson and his Focus on the Family group and other others in the movement over the US Supreme Court decision in Gonzales v. Carhart? We can certainly hope so. Dobson is being criticised by former allies after he hailed the decision as a victory for those who which to restrict or eliminate a woman's right to choose. Those who are speaking out against FOF are those who believe that Carhart is "more wicked than Roe" because it is not a comprehensive ban. I'm sure that I don't follow their thinking but then I never did.
