Scientists in Tennessee are baffled by patterns being made in liverworts on logs in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park as they can't work out what is causing the patterns to appear. Currently the patterns are taking the form of symmetrical bulls-eye patterns but it can only be a matter of time before members of the Holy Family start popping up and the logs are spirited out of the part to be sold on EBay.
