I recently noted that the fact that Scottish newspapers were now carrying stories relating to the Philly's murder rate was not the kind of publicity that we need. Now the Herald Tribune is covering the Phillies plunge into ignominy. Isn't there any good news that we can circulate via the press?
In the meantime I suggest that, perhaps coincident with the Phloundering Phils' 10,000th loss, we change the city's name, temporarily at least, to the "City of Brotherly Loss".
