Trouble brewing in Treovis

Of course it's annoying. It's a garden gnome.

You'd have to be a bit of a twat to get the coppers involved though. Of wait. He is a copper.

The thing I don't understand is why it's solar powered. What does a gnome need power for?

Key quote:
"I'm not having the police telling me what type of garden gnome I can have. It's a standard gnome I bought from a store."

Wonder if it's a bit like this story:

Pensioner who kept neighbour's football treated like a criminal

Don't mess with your neighbour if he's plod.

(abject apologies for linking to the Daily Mail - please forgive me)

Until you know the truth you should not make stupid comments
the mackillops have been causing trouble in Treovis for about 20 years and all the locals know this.
The neighbour is not a police officer he retired several years ago and was given no opportunity to give his side of the story before the press and media decided they would not let the truth get in the way of a good story. Had the press bothered to ask any of the other neighbours or anyone else who lives nearby they would have found out the truth

Oh yes 'anonymous', so where is your friend now? Not given a chance to speak? He's got a phone hasn't he? Didn't want to make himself look more of a Prat than he already has more like! As for causing trouble, the MacKillop's are two of the nicest people you could wish to meet and anybody would be happy to have them as neighbours.
