Xena no more

UB313, (not to be confused with UB40) has been informally know as Xena (not to be confused with the warrior princess) and which got to be a planet for a few days at least, now has an official name - Eris. Its moon has also received an official name - Dysnomia.

I think someone's taking the mick here. In Greek mythology Dysnomia is the daughter of Eris but she is also known as
"the wilful spirit of lawlessness".

And who played Xena on the telly? None other than the buxom New Zeeland actress Lucy Lawless.

I reckon there's a nerdy, slightly asocial astronomer out there somewhere with a bit of fixation, don't you?
