Prince Harry, third in line to the throne of the United Kingdom, will not be going Iraq after all.
On one hand this offends me because it suggests that he is getting special treatment because he is a royal. No one deserves to die in Iraq whether or not they are a German Prince.
On the other hand it would be patently idiotic to send him there and then send, as was being proposed, a squad of Special Forces troops just to protect him. Once it was made public that he was on his way he became a target of extremely high value for the opposing forces.
So Harry stays at home. I feel extremely sorry though for the poor sod who is going in his place.
