Was there really a bomb if there was no one to hear it go off?

The Interior Ministry of the Iraqi government has banned journalists from attending the scenes of bombings citing their concerns over the preservation of evidence. Right.

Presumably this will free up journalists to tag along when John McCain strolls around Baghdad without a military escort, flyovers by attack helicopters or a flak vest.
