The Philadelphia murder rate continues to surge on through the summer at more than one a day and I think it says it all that the Philadelphia Inquirer finds it necessary to provide both an interactive homicide map and an interactive shootings map.
A note for any NRA members: they do not seem to find it necessary to have an interactive "murdered with a frozen fish" or "murdered with kerosene" map. Why would that be I wonder? After all we all know that guns don't kill people!
