The most recent legitimate leader of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, who was ousted in an illegal coup by current President Pervez "The General" Musharraf, is set to return to the country in order to challenge the deal being cooked up between "The General" and former PM Benazir Bhutto to share power. The Musharraf/Bhutto coalition seems to have American approval over the candidacy of Mr. Sharif who leads a Muslim religious party. It is curious how supportive the Bush regime is of "secular" governments outside of the US, isn't it?
