The march towards democracy in key American ally Pakistan is seemingly irresistible as a shady backroom deal between current Pakistani President and military dictator Pervez "The General" Musharraf and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, that has been engineered primarily by the US, which will see the two sharing power looks set to happen. I am sure that this is in keeping with the Pakistani constitution and that the Pakistani people will have a free and open opportunity to take a different path if that is what they wish. Right?
