The President of the Palestinian National Authority has promised Israeli PM Ehud Olmert that in order to defend democracy he will not talk to Hamas who is the party that heads up the Palestinian government. Am I the only one who thinks they don't really get the democracy thing?
Look we may not like Hamas; we may not approve of their policies or plans; but they won a majority in an election that the international community, including the US, blessed as generally free and fair.
