Schadenfreude overload

US Agriculture Undersecretary Mark Rey faces a contempt of court charge from a Federal Judge in Montana, undoubtedly a radical firebrand, for failing to review the impact of using fish killing fire retardants when fighting western forest fires. It is possible that Mr. Rey could be imprisoned until the government carries out the required environmental impact assessment.

Can the Decider(TM) commute a contempt charge?
