Not everything is working in Afghanistan yet but we should be proud of the impact that the American led invasion has made on the country's primary cash export crop: opium. (Note: I do find it a bit worrisome that the Akron Farm Report is so interested in the story although I doubt that the climate in Ohio is appropriate for opium poppies. Now ganja - that's another matter entirely!)
