The Commander Guy wanted British PM to have a special memento of their first weekend together and, proving that he hasn't bothered to find out anything about Gordo, he decided that the perfect gift would be a brown leather bomber jacket with "Gordon Brown" emblazoned on the back. The jacket is otherwise a faithful replica of the jacket that el Arbusto wore on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln back in 2003 to say something or other. Since Mr. Bown's normal idea of casual dressing is wearing an old tie he is probably a bit bemused.
I would like to think that in return Gordo might have given Bush an antique copy of Tom Paine's Rights of Man
only to have it rejected due to lack of pictures.
