In praise of the roundabout!

Since I moved here in the early nineties and started driving I have been of the opinion that the US needs to bring back the roundabout, aka traffic circle/rotary, and get rid of all those bloody four way stop signs and inane traffic lights. It seems that the International Herald Tribune, or at least one of its writers, agrees with me.

Just don't start with this one!
