Bush has admitted to having had a "drinking problem" when he was younger but never, at least openly, to alcoholism. I agree with Sr. Chavez.

Personally I think all 12 steps of the AA programme would do him some good although steps 8 - 10 might cause some problems. Executing them would certainly take up an awful lot of his time.

9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. He's going to be spending a great deal of time in Iraq, Afghanistan, Louisiana and other exotic places. It won't leave much time for clearing brush.
10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it. Despite his middle initial he's always had a hard time with the "W" word. Maybe Fonzie could help with this.
