Can you blame them?

The Saudi Oil Minister Ali Al-Naimi has expressed his concern that some "environment-related decisions, which some countries are trying to impose, could reduce global consumption of oil". (I think this worries George Bush and his mates too!)

Similar sentiments were expressed by OPEC director of research Hasan Qaba who said "there is a need to focus on technological options that allow the continued use of oil in a carbon-constrained world".

Or to paraphrase "Please don't use less oil! Please don't! Please!"
