And the coup goes on

The Generals in charge of Thailand are beginning to act more like a junta should; increasing police powers, banning political activity and disrupting the filming of a Nicholas Cage movie.

Nonetheless the capitalist perspective remains upbeat! After all there's always a chance to make money.

The Thai press is expressing concern about the impact of the coup on US - Thai relations. Not to worry. So far the White House reaction has been "disappointment". Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian Affairs Christopher Hill did say that was no justification for the coup but stopped well short of the outright condemnation that has been the reaction from most other Western countries.
