I think I may.
A hat tip to the Guardian's G2 section for pointing us in the direction of this invaluable book. It helps to fill out those gaps in the English language where there just isn't a word for what you want to say. Forget Schadenfreude. Herein lie such valuable terms as:
Torschlusspanik (German) - the fear of diminishing opportunities as one gets older (literally: gate-closing panic)
Ichigo-ichie (Japanese) - the practice of treasuring each moment and trying to make it perfect (not to be confused with itchy gitchy goo as any child would tell you)
Pana po'o (Hawaiian) - to scratch your head in order to remember something
Nakhur (Persian): a camel that won't give milk until her nostrils are tickled
Read and learn!
