Another childhood hero gone

RIP Johnny Callison. He was only 67.

Now I'm going to start thinking about '64 and I won't be able to sleep. I was eight that year and it's my first clear memory of following baseball. I can pick 'em, eh?

If it had only been Jim Bunning instead. We would miss the great pitcher but not the wacko senator.
