Extra! Extra! Hottest, longest summer ever!

I have faith in my President and am as certain as he is that there is nothing in this global warming thing. I mean ExxonMobil wouldn't lie to us, would they?

So imagine my surprise to read that 2006 has been the longest and hottest summer in the UK since records began way back in 1659. July 2006 was the warmest month ever and September 2006 the warmest September ever.

Today is the 16th of October and there are STILL Kent strawberries for sale down the market. WTF?

Thank god George Bush is the king of the world! Less thoughtful folks might be prone to overreact (or even react) to this.
