Welcome to the long goodbye*

Tony Blair's grand farewell tour has begun. He is providing us with the opportunity to wrap Him up in our love and gratefullness for all He has done for us. Where does this tour begin you may ask. The answer is, of course, Blue Peter. This gives Him a shot at ensuring His legacy remains untainted with a generation that have no idea who He is as yet.

Covering such topics as his favourite meal (spaghetti bolognaise), what is his pet name for 10 Downing Street (the Tardis) and has George Bush been to number 10 (I don't know) the show demonstrates the Prime Minister's ability to handle the difficult interview.

It is rumoured that for His next appearance He will be doing panto in Blackpool at Christmas. The part of the Twidow Wankey, er, the Widow Twankey has been suggested.

*Apologies to Raymond Chandler
