When US Attorney General and Bush succubus Alberto "Gone-zo" Gonzales said that senior "Justice" Department officials didn't receive political briefings from Karl Rove and the like what he actually meant was that senior "Justice" Department officials DID receive political briefings from Karl Rove and the like but not in the Department's offices. I can just picture the Rovester under a shady elm tree on a fine spring day surrounded by eager "Justice" Department staffers as he briefs them on the reasons why they must use their prosecutorial powers to crush unruly Democratic candidates like roaches. Mr. Rove may or may not have been laughing Satanically at the time.
It is a difference of only one word; surely that isn't impeachable!
