Huge evangelical Christian gatherings are, fortunately, not such an integral part of life in Britain as in America so when they do occur they make the news. Ron Luce did manage to attract around 6,500 young folks the other day and hopes to attract 100,000 in total over the week.
He did get at least one of his facts wrong though when he claimed that Scotland's age of consent was 14. It is in fact 16 which is older than at least 5 American states!
