(New) strict constructionist view of the First Amendment

I think that South Carolina state Sen. Larry Grooms (Republicon) has got us with this one. Whilst the First Amendment to the US Constitution clearly prohibits the government from promoting religion it clearly does not prevent the government from promoting best sellers!
