It sure sounds like the new 24 hour a day, 7 day a week Iraq (mis)Communications Desk being set up at the Pentagon to pave the way for the straight A report card from General Petraeus next month is purely a political operation. Shouldn't the Republican National Committee, or alternately the George W. Bush Legacy Fund, be stumping up for this?
