Former American astronaut Rusty Schweickart is a man on a lonely mission to save the planet from an asteroid strike. Well if he thinks that he is a lone voice in the wilderness he has not met the Honourable Lembit Öpik MP who has strenuously and vociferously warning Britain about these dangers for years; at least whenever he can tear himself away from whichever of The Cheeky Girls he is dating at the time.
