An(other) American Tragedy

This tragedy occurred not that far from where I grew up. Five young Amish girls and the shooter himself are now dead. Whether or not the fact that it was an Amish school factored in the killer's motive is unknown. Irrespective of that it is especially poignant that these are people who for the last 200 years have sought isolations from the encroachments of the modern world.

It may have happened because a disturbed man was unable or unwilling to get help.

It may have happened because said disturbed man lived in a culture infected with a virus of readily obtainable weapons.

Of course there are those who are convinced that the answer is more and better guns. It takes all kinds I guess.
