The future's bleak, the future's Bush

The latest Harris poll is out and things look bleak for those in power. Bush fares especially badly being rated unfavourably on EVERY issue that they enquired about. (That's all F's Georgey boy. Even at Phillips Academy, that mainstay of the Texan working class, they would have held you back a year for that.) He rates best on "keeping America safer" where 26% strongly approved and 23% somewhat approved of his performance but 39% still strongly disapprove. He fares worst on healthcare where only 8% strongly approve v 23% somewhat disapprove and a whopping 41% strongly disapprove. Again he doesn't get a positive net rating on any of the eleven issues included.

43% of likely voters also want the Democrats to control both houses.
