Around the globe George W. Bush campaign for democracy marches on:
In Thailand the elected government (inept and crony laden as it was - wait a second - inept and crony laden - that reminds me of somewhere else - but where??) is overturned. The White House reaction? "We're disappointed" says Tony Snow and Condi Rice is said to be reconsidering her plans to holiday in Phuket.
Elsewhere the President is scheduled to meet with General President Musharraf of Pakistan and President of Karzai of Kabul next week. Pakistan is busy fostering democracy by not holding elections and by coming to an agreement with pro-Taliban militants in which the goverment will just leave them alone.
And in Iraq, well, Mr. Bush tells us they are already a democracy so that's sorted then!
