How green is your hand grenade?

Second in an occasional series (first part here).

BAE systems, British manufacturer and one of the world's biggest arms companies, is to develop a line of green munitions. Lead free bullets & low toxin rockets. Greenpeace must be overjoyed!

Dr. Debbie Allen, director of (snigger, snigger) corporate responsibility for BAE says:

"Weapons are going to be used and when they are, we try to make them as safe for the user as possible, to limit the collateral damage and to impact as little as possible on the environment.”

Oh, and makes lotsa money as well.

We wait for the announcement that BAE will make munitions safe for the usee as well as the user. Coming soon undoubtedly.
