Suitable punishments

This is a little old testament for my taste but perhaps we could devise some suitable punishments for US officials:

  • Ex FEMA director - "Heck of job" Michael Brown could be made to spend three years in a FEMA trailer somewhere in Arkansas.
  • Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld could have to do a year's tour on the front line in Helmand province in Afghanistanwithout body armour.
  • Attorney General Alberto Gonzales who is so enamoured of illegal surveillance should be made to spend, I don't two years, in the Big Brother house with a wide selection of homosexuals, perverts and ACLU members and other liberals.
  • Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings could spend a year teaching in the inner city somewhere, anywhere.
  • Homeland Security secretary would have to take the place of Mr. Gonzales when he gets out.
  • Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao gets a year at Walmart (where she has to live on the salary - with her family - without any government assistance.

  • And for George Bush - well 18 months in Sadr City ought to be enough, don't you think?
