US Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson warns US banks against doing busines with illicit companies who might be supplying technology for weapons of mass destruction to Iran in contravention of U.S. sanctions. The Secretary said "there's a broad network of front companies" of "mundane sounding businesses that do many legitimate activities, but in addition they do some of these untoward and illicit activities".
I assume that the Secretary had a private word with Halliburton (after getting clearance from Dick Cheney) on the subject.
