A white stork named Max, born in captivity, has set a new record for the longest time an animal has been under sattelite surviellance at 2,268 days. A spokesman for the Natural History Museum of Fribourg in Switzerland, said "I think this must be the world’s most famous stork".
Unfortunately for Max he still falls well short of the human record of 5,478 set by entire Asian community of Bradford!
