They shoot coeds don't they?

News comes to us (albeit a bit late) from the Beehive state (aka the great state of Utah), which has previously given us the Mormons and Olympic scandal, that the state supreme court has courageously overturned the University of Utah's ban on the possession of guns of campus. Those who would strip U of U undergraduates of their god given, second amendment guaranteed right to bear arms have suffered a glorious defeat!

Lilly-livered Americans such as senior Melissa Carey, who said:
"I would be uncomfortable knowing that people in my class have concealed weapons. I don't believe there is any need to have firearms or weapons on campus
should feel safer knowing that someone in her class has a pistol secreted on his or her person in order that she be protected from godless terrorists (who are undoubtedly scouring the Utah countryside looking for high value targets such as the Biggest Pit in the World or the Hole in the Rock.

I think Jason Clark sums it up quite succinctly in his letter to the Utah Daily Chronicle.
